Day 4 of the 10 Day Fast and Prayer

Day 4 of the 10 day Fast & Prayer.

With all Fast there is a hump to get across where there is level ground. Most people I’ve spoken with say it was day 3. I believe that they are correct especially if you go cold turkey off of coffee!

King Hezekiah in 2 Chronicles 29:16-17 detoxified the temple which his evil father King Ahaz had polluted.  After 16 day detox they celebrated the Passover with such passion that their voice and prayer was heard in heaven -2 Chron 30:27

This 10 day is a detox of the human temple – our body (1Cor6:19) both on the fleshly and spiritual realm.  The desire is for our prayers to reach heaven and be granted.  The 10 day fast is the law of the mind taking over the law of the members and commanding the body to be under authority of the mind – Romans 7:23.

KJV 2 Chronicles 29:16-17
16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the Lord into the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.
17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the Lord: so they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

KJV 2 Chronicles 30:27  Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

When one cleans up one’s fleshly body by detoxing the gunk within us then we feel much better.   We are able to physically do more for the Lord when we feel better whether praying longer without ailments/pains or doing works for others.

I thank Jesus for all the wonderful mouth watering combinations of fruits and vegetables for us to eat and juice.

regards,
David
