This is the fourth year 2011 2013 2014 that a warning will be sent to Christians not to engage in any Halloween activities.
Quoting bible verses which speaks against Halloween has proven to be unfruitful but everyone loves a good story. Two recent news stories show the dangers of Halloween.
Why are Christians not worried about the occult references in Halloween?
Maybe because 6 out of 10 Christians in a 2008 telephone survey didn’t believe Satan is real but just a symbol of evil.
Nearly six out of ten Christians either strongly agreed or somewhat agreed with the
statement that Satan “is not a living being but is a symbol of evil,” the survey found.
Hank Hanegraaff, “Widely regarded as one of the world’s leading Christian authors and apologists,”, answers the Question “Can a Christian be demon-possessed?” His answer “Absolutely not… no Christian can be ‘demon-possessed’”
A Christian won’t have any fear about any occultism tied to Halloween if Christians believe that Satan is only a symbol for evil or once you become a Christian then you are safe from any demonic attack.
The news articles demonstrate demonic activity in modern day life and that those being tormented are left to fend for themselves without proper support from churches.
The first news article is from Indystar.com, an e-newspaper covering the Indianapolis Indiana area. It reports the demonic activity at a house in Gary Indiana from November 2011 to January 2013. These events revolving around 5 persons: Latoya Ammons, her 2 boys ages 7 and 9 & 12 year old daughter age along with Ammon’s mother, Rosa Campbell.
There are over 800 pages of documentation from the hospital, police, psychologist, church and Child Protective services records.
Before starting. The purpose of what follows is not to create fear by showing the power of Satan but the power and authority that Christians have against Satan when Christians are walking uprightly before God. It’s a power that Satan cannot defeat and it’s a power that the churches are not teaching. This is the purpose why the miracles of Jesus and the Apostles had to be reviewed prior to this study to demonstrate the power we have as Christians….
