Do you as a Christian have an identity crisis?
No, one may say. I repented, believe in Jesus and was baptized for the remission of sins. I have the right doctrines and I go to church and tithe. I get along with most people and I do not like the state of this world and sin and the corruption that is getting worse daily.
I see the apostasy of many churches today and I stay away from them. I reject legalism and I abhor liberalism. So, I think that I am sure that I know I am a Christian, thus no identity crisis.
Now, how about the mirror to the mind and heart? Are you pleased with your thoughts? Are you pleased with your actions? Do you feel that you living a Christian life? Do you feel that you can share the good news of the gospel with others based on your daily walk? Do you feel comfortable telling someone that when they die with Christ in the waters of baptism that they arise a new person in Christ, a fresh start, the past is gone? Is there now a sense of an Identity crises coming upon you?
